About

Is-Able Children’s Foundation was born out of love, resilience, and a deep desire to create opportunities for children with special needs. Our journey began with Isabel, who was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at just one month old. A traumatic event during her early days led to oxygen loss in her brain, resulting in neurological challenges, including cerebral palsy. Despite the obstacles she faced, we were committed to ensuring that Isabel had every opportunity to thrive. Through advocacy, support, and relentless pursuit of resources, we worked to enrich her life, helping her reach her fullest potential.
Though Isabel’s life was tragically cut short at the age of 16, her spirit continues to inspire our mission. We know firsthand the challenges that come with raising a child with special needs, and we also understand the power of community, connection, and support. Is-Able Children’s Foundation exists to empower families by providing them with the tools, resources, and advocacy needed to help their children succeed. Our vision is to help build communities where children with special needs can reach the highest level of their potential—because every child deserves the opportunity to shine.

“Every child has a unique light within them—when given the right support and belief, children with special needs can shine just as brightly, reaching their full potential in ways the world never expected.”
